April 2025

Welcome to StrikeMore’s Monthly update! This April has been full of exciting progress for our pups!
Freya has been building her confidence in public access with visits to shops, parks, and even a museum. She’s mastering her down-stay and settle during busy moments like packing, and is showing great focus by calmly ignoring distractions such as passersby and playful children.
Atlas has had a busy social calendar too—exploring an outdoor aviary, attending a retirement party, riding the bus to meet a cat, and enjoying his very first free-run with Freya! He’s growing in trust and responsiveness with different handlers, particularly during training and grooming, and has started learning impressive task-work that could benefit his future person.
Meanwhile, Elmo has been working hard in a wide range of environments, including farmers markets, hospitals, hotels, and even supported her handler through a hospital stay—offering vital help with retrieves and deep pressure therapy during recovery.

Donating non-monetary items like dog food, treats, blankets, or toys is a wonderful way to help support our cause.

StrikeMore rely on these tangible donations to support the animals in our care. To contribute, it’s best to first reach out to us via email - Strikemoredogtraining@gmail.com  to inquire about preferred drop-off location or postal address. This ensures your donation goes directly to where it’s needed most. Whether you're sending items by post or dropping them off in person, these thoughtful donations can make a significant difference and we appreciate all the help!
